Our Husbands are not well able to fight Boko Haram – Military Wives

MAIDUGURI, Nigeria: Wives and children of security men has protested against the deployment of their husbands and loved ones to fight Boko Haram, saying they are not well able with the weapons available. 
The protesters who came out in their numbers in Maiduguri, Borno State lamented the killing of their loved ones by Boko Haram, claiming they were ill-equipped to fight the insurgency.
According Rahina Ali, wife of a military officer: “Our husbands are always given inferior weapons while the Boko Haram have superior weapons.”
They called on the government to properly equip the security men for them to end the insurgency which has claimed thousands of innocent lives  since it began in 2009.
